Blue Marble

Quick test of celstial bodies, attempting to gauge the difficulty in creating a photorealistic planet.

This is a sphere with textures provided from the Blue Marble project. The atmosphere is a volumetric sphere surrounding the poly sphere, while the cloud cover is a poly sphere with an alpha to cut out the clouds, and displacement to create depth.
